EKU BUSHIKAN

Traditional Kobudo Eku specially designed and handcrafted to meet the rigorous needs of traditional kobudo training with contact. The main difference between the Bushikan Eku and other brands is the Bushikan Eku has been designed, tested and approved by a long time practitioner of the traditional martial arts. Eku is one of the traditional kobudo weapons that have its origins in fishing activities as it was an oar.

The Eku has two different sections; the handle that resembles a regular Bo to be used to execute similar techniques to the Bo, and the paddle section that due to its form can be used to execute cutting techniques as well as thrusting techniques with the tip.
