NUNTE BUSHIKAN
Traditional Kobudo Nunte specially designed and handcrafted to meet the rigorous needs of traditional kobudo training with contact. The main difference between the Bushikan Nunte and other brands is the Bushikan Nunte has been designed, tested and approved by a long time practitioner of the traditional martial arts.
Another unique characteristic of the Bushikan Nunte is if the size offered does not accommodate the practitioner’s measurements, we will do our best to personalize the Bushikan Nunte size to fit you.
Nunte is a weapon many times associated with the practice of Nunti Bo but also is practiced as an individual weapon.
In some schools of kobudo when performing a Nunti Bo kata the practitioner will start the kata by carrying one Nunte crossed in the back of the obi (belt) and during the kata the practitioner will use the Nunte in conjunction with the Nunti Bo. The Nunte is sold as an individual unit, not as a pair. Practitioners usually purchase the Nunte in conjunction with the Nunti Bo.
Nunte with black powder coating finish and no cord will show a small perforation at one end due to the process to apply the powder coating finish.
